Citadex collaborates with Kyndryl and BBVA on a data center project

The Data Processing Center, or Data Center, is a critical infrastructure for companies, especially in the banking sector.
These facilities house servers and electronic equipment that require significant power and controlled temperature conditions for proper operation.
In recent years, the energy cost of operating a data center has increased, leading BBVA to seek solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint.
In collaboration with Kyndryl, a project was implemented based on the configuration of cold aisles and hot aisles, separating hot and cold air to minimize airflow between them. This solution reduces electricity consumption and can lower CO2 emissions by up to 1,500 tons per year.
BBVA selected Kyndryl as a partner for its experience and compliance with sector regulatory standards. The collaboration between both entities has demonstrated availability and responsiveness, ensuring the proper operation of the company’s core infrastructure.
